Metal-bonded diamond grinding wheels serve as abrasives for disc-type automatic polishers or manual polishing machines. Manufactured by welding diamond segments onto an iron wheel base, they are primarily employed for coarse grinding of granite slabs. Standard sizes include 8-inch and 10-inch metal wheels. The 10-inch metal wheel enjoys widespread application due to its large contact area with stone surfaces, yielding superior polishing results. Metal wheels are available in three grit sizes: 50#, 200#, and 400#. Lower numbers denote coarser grit. Mounted on the front polishing head of the polishing line, metal wheels are arranged in ascending order of grit size.
