Suitable Materials or Conditions?
Drills hard granite, marble, engineered stone, concrete, brick, masonry, and all similar materials.
Ideal for drilling faucet holes in stone countertops, and for plumbing in shower enclosures and vanities.
Dry or wet drilling – wet drilling significantly extends the life of the bit.
Compatible Machines?
With 5/8″-11 thread; easily operates on angle grinders.
If you are mounting these on a drill or other machine, you will need an adapter, such as SDS, hexagonal, or round head with shank.
Note:
Do not use this drill in hammer or impact mode. Do not apply excessive pressure or shake the drill bit while drilling.
If you find drilling difficult, pause and inspect the bit.
If the bit becomes dull, try drilling on abrasive concrete to sharpen it before continuing with drilling hard materials.
